Pyjam Child Safety Standards Policy

Overview

Pyjam is a multi-platform ecosystem for live streaming and social interaction. We are deeply committed to protecting children and upholding the highest safety standards on our platform. Our policies strictly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, and we take proactive measures to prevent, detect, and remove such content. This document outlines Pyjam’s compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards.

Published Standards Against CSAE

Pyjam’s official Child Safety & Protection Policy is publicly available at: app.pyjam.com/child-safety-standards.html

Key points of our standards:

  • Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Prohibition of grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any form of CSAE.
  • Mandatory removal of content and termination of accounts involved in CSAE.
  • Immediate cooperation with law enforcement authorities when required by law.
  • Continuous monitoring of content to detect and prevent violations.

In-App User Feedback Mechanism

Pyjam provides multiple ways for users to report safety concerns directly within the app:

  • In-App Report Button: Every stream and profile includes a “Report” button.
  • Dedicated Support Email: support@pyjam.com

These mechanisms ensure that users can easily flag harmful or suspicious activity without leaving the app.

Addressing CSAM

Pyjam has established internal procedures to take immediate action when CSAM is identified:

  1. Automatic Detection & Moderation – AI-driven tools identify and block prohibited content.
  2. Human Moderation – All reports are reviewed by a trained Trust & Safety team.
  3. Content Removal – CSAM is immediately removed upon detection.
  4. Account Suspension – Offending accounts are banned permanently.
  5. Law Enforcement Cooperation – Relevant cases are reported to legal authorities in compliance with applicable laws.

Legal Compliance

Pyjam complies with child protection laws in all jurisdictions where we operate, including:

  • U.S. laws prohibiting CSAM (18 U.S.C. § 2258A, NCMEC reporting).
  • EU regulations on online safety and child protection.
  • Applicable local laws in Asia and other operational regions.
